How do you combine two businesses in one space? This project contains a cafe at the front of the space and a gallery at the back, separated by a simple white cube that doubles as a storage space. A second volume conceals support space for the cafe and restrooms. A luminous coffee bar ceiling creates a focal point near the entry, while the client's art and eclectic furnishings bring warmth and character to the otherwise raw concrete space.
