Lincoln is a San Francisco native who has lived most of his life on the California coast. Growing up in the city, he was surrounded by the creative energy of post-1960s culture and his family’s community of creatives, teachers, and filmmakers who he witnessed pushing the boundaries of their respective crafts. He attended unique local schools that nurtured his interests in critical thinking, making, and applied arts.
With more than 25 years of experience in architecture and related fields, Lincoln has spent his entire life designing and building things. He holds degrees in fine art and architecture, graduating with honors from the Master’s program at California College of the Arts. He began his career as an architectural lighting designer and worked for over a decade at prestigious local architecture firms Holt Hinshaw and Jensen Architects. He obtained his California architect’s license in 2013 and started his practice in 2015.
Lincoln practices architecture at the intersection of art, sustainability, and well-being. His progressive upbringing instilled a deep desire to be part of the solution to society’s challenges, and he believes that the architect's role as a creative problem solver is clearer than ever in the age of climate change. In addition to being a licensed architect, he is a certified Passive House designer and LEED (leadership in energy and environmental design) accredited professional.
After living and working in the city for many years, Lincoln moved with his wife and daughter to Mill Valley in 2020. He and his staff continue to work on projects throughout the Bay Area, California, and beyond.
